Ever thought of shutting the hell up? Your remark had nothing to do with anything.

Ever thought that he took those photos himself?

I'm not complaining on the video, I'm just telling you that imo i prefer drawings/Illustrations that don't use textures. I watched it because i thought the result on the preview was pretty good (Though almost anything will look good on a thumbnail)

lol you have so many points. im on your side. no one really gives a fuck if you're using a picture that someone took of the same cloned, endless galleries of palm trees from google or whatever, just to paint yourself a magical beech/fortress of your imagination, especially if it's for fun. so just leave them to it and stop moaning. i bet you copied your mates work in school to cheat on tests or something.

go and watch one that's painted from scratch then O_o you're not forced to watch this one.

if you dont have tight perspective and lighting knowledge, you can paste all kinds of shit and end up with shit lol probably where i would be.making everything hyperrealistic is just time consuming and manial most of time, (of course it requires skill but for the bigger picture/concept don't think it's the utmost priority, besides its a matte painting, not like we give them total credit for painstaking photorealistic detail works but many have fking briliant design and funamental art skills

Of course. I don't mind that they use it to make money or if you don't have enough time to make it from scratch but if they do it for fun and then put it on youtube, i'd rather watch a vid that's painted from scratch.

@venge329 It's one thing to use it to make money it's another to use it for non-profit, using things for educational reasons and using parts of something (not the whole) is covered under fair use. The people that took that picture in the first place stole it from nature, they didn't make that mountain.

No, but when I was reading that I pretended to read it in a slow retarded voice. Assuming thats what you actually sound like.He started to actually paint it. Ill give him that much. but about half way through he just copied and pasted a bunch of mountains and the the shore. More than half of the time photographers copyright thier photos. I could almost bet that he didnt even ask for permission to use them. Pisses me off when other people steal your work and use it without your knowlage.
