I'm just learning this on 3ds max and I find 3ds max crashes with 20 or so objects , I dont know why it is downloaded the patches and now am thinking about this . The quality of this seems excellent. 3ds max 2010 crashes too much I'm running a quad core processor 3.4 ghz 4 gigs memory there's no reason why this should be crashing.

best way to model things in 3d on a mac:definitely Maya

i have been learning cinema 4d in my spare time and it seems like there should be a better way to model things. does anybody know what the best 3d software for mac is? I think softimage is just for pc.
